Hello beautiful people! Welcome to the new Roaming Yogi site!
It’s been a long while (nearly a year!). Last time I checked in on the blog, I was on the other side of the world and we were completely in travel mode. While we haven’t completely abandoned travel mode, we have slowed it wayyy down. If we’re connected via social media, then you know that we’ve been in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for about six months now (with a break in between to go home for the holidays) and I LOVE it.
If you’ve never been to PV, I highly recommend it. The weather is perfect, the avocados are always ripe, the people are incredibly lovely, and the sunsets are phenomenal. It’s a magical paradise and I love it something fierce.
I’ve Found My Passion
I’ve been down here teaching yoga, working on some projects (more to come on that later), and generally loving life. This is the first opportunity I’ve had to consistently teach, and I’ve got to tell you…I’ve found my passion. This is it. This is what lights me up. I love teaching even when I don’t feel like teaching. As such, I’m finding more ways to continue doing it and to share my passion with anyone and everyone who wishes to partake.
Yoga Yoga Yoga
So the site is taking a new direction. It’s all about yoga – posture, pranayama, and meditation tutorials, tidbits from my practice and from teaching, my ruminations about yoga, and some history and philosophy for good measure. I’ll be integrating yoga videos and courses, so if there is anything you’ve been wanting to learn about yoga, please share and I’ll see what I can do.
Roam with Me this June!
And lastly, I’m dipping my yogi toes into the waters of yoga retreats summer! I’ll be hosting my first retreat on the West Coast of Ireland this June. It will be very small, and only a weekend long, which is perfect for my first retreat.
If you’ve ever wanted to visit Ireland, June is the perfect time to go; and practicing yoga with me is the perfect add-on to an Ireland trip! Ireland is gorgeous. If you’re a city person like me, it’ll be the most green you’ve ever seen in your life. Click here to learn more, and feel free to reach out with any questions, comments, or just to say hey.
Thanks for stopping by!
