This post is all about self-confidence. That sexy, alluring trait that can be oh so elusive.

A big mistake we make is expecting to feel confident at the start of any venture. An even bigger mistake is succumbing to discouragement when that confidence doesn’t come immediately.

Whether it’s a new job, a new workout program, or moving to a new place. We want to feel confident right from the start. And I mean, yeah, that would be awesome. But it doesn’t work this way, at least not for most people.

The thing about self-confidence is that it takes time to cultivate. And during that time of cultivation, we have to rely on our inner resources. With a bit of faith, and a bit of fearlessness.

You have to look to your own inner power to get you through the beginning stages. This is Manipura Chakra business.

The Manipura Chakra, the solar plexus chakra, is located right at the center of the core. This chakra is your seat of inner power; that place deep inside that propels you to keep moving forward, setting fears and self-doubts aside. Confidence is a consequence of tapping into this inner power.

Core Strength for Self-Confidence

This practice is a 15-minute morning yoga confidence boost. Don’t let the 15-minute timeframe fool you, it’s a challenging core-strengthening class. You’ll have to pool your resources – your inner power. The idea is to practice digging deep on your mat so that you can go out into the world and practice off the mat.
